The bill going viral is of 28 June 1971. The bill is also made in Delhi’s Moti Mahal restaurant, that too was written by the hand of the shopkeeper. The price of masala dosa and coffee is written in the food bill, seeing which you will be confused whether the shopkeeper has forgotten to write zero in it. The cost of 2 masala dosas is Rs 1 and the cost of 2 coffees is written in the slip. Means one masala dosa was taken for 50 paise and one coffee for 50 paise. The total bill was Rs 2, on which 6 paise service tax and 10 paise service charge were added and the total bill for two people was Rs 2.16 paise. We know you still can’t believe your eyes.
